Meet Tricia Bristow – Line Dance Lover, Instructor, and Proud Matriarch of the FOLD!

With over 11 years of experience as a line dance instructor and a passion that’s been grooving since the 80s, Tricia Bristow brings energy, heart, and a whole lot of fun to every class she teaches. After taking a break to raise her beautiful blended family with husband Brooks Bristow (parents to Daniel, Nick, Meredith, and Hayli), she returned to the dance floor—and hasn’t missed a beat since!

Now a proud grandma to 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild, Tricia shares her joy of dance with others each week:
🕕 Mondays: Beginner class at 6 PM, experienced dancers at 6:45 PM – Dunn Moose Lodge
🕕 Tuesdays: Same schedule – Stouts and Ales, Coats, NC
🕑 Wednesdays: Coats Senior Center, 2–4 PM
📅 Every other Wednesday: 7 PM – Stouts and Ales

Tricia’s favorite part of line dancing? The endless blessings—friendship, fitness, stress relief, continuous learning, and social fun. Her love for connecting with fellow instructors inspired the creation of FOLD (Friends of Line Dancing), a group dedicated to spreading the joy of line dancing everywhere they go.

If you've been to a great line dance party in the last decade in or around Harnett County, chances are Brooks Bristow was behind the booth! DJ'ing since the early 2000s, Brooks brings years of experience, great energy, and an unbeatable playlist to every event.

For the past 11 years, he’s specialized in line dance events and dance parties, keeping all kinds of dancers moving with today’s most popular hits and classic favorites across Country, Shag/Beach, Pop, Oldies, Easy Listening, Gospel, and more. With an ear for great music and a heart for fun, he’s always ready to take requests and keep the floor packed all night long.

Brooks shares his life and love of music with wife Tricia, a fellow line dance enthusiast and instructor. Together, they’ve built a beautiful blended family of 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
