Welcome, I am thrilled to be working with you. I encourage you not to give up on yourself. As I stated, learning to line dance is a process. It's like learning a new language. Everything will begin to make sense soon. Give yourself some GRACE! You can do this. (last updated September 30, 2025)
YOU CAN DO THIS! Halloween Dances
At the first class we learned a modified version of the dance AB Believe by Peter Probert. I modified this dance because I wanted you to also learn the "BASIC" and not just the Grapevines. In class last night you learned the following line dance steps:
Basic (both right and left)
K-Step (right)
Grapevines (both right and left)
Forward with a Kick, Back with a Touch (right)
1/4 Left Turn (At the end of class we learn how to turn both the left BASIC and the left GRAPEVINE.)
You also learned about the clock system and the grid system.
You worked hard and you learned a lot for your first class. Be proud of yourself and DO THIS FOR YOU!
